4. Hosting and server infrastructure
The site is hosted on a dedicated server managed by a U.S.-based managed hosting provider, operating data centers in the United States and processes server-level data including web logs, IP addresses, and server performance metrics as part of its infrastructure services.
As a dedicated server environment, your data is carefully managed with other client sites that we manage.
5. WordPress
The site is built on WordPress, an open-source content management system. WordPress sets several cookies to support site functionality:
- wordpress_logged_in_[hash] — Identifies whether you are logged in and which account you are using. Set when you sign in via a magic link.
- wordpress_sec_[hash] — A security cookie used to validate authentication credentials.
- wp-settings-[user_id] / wp-settings-time-[user_id] — Stores user interface preferences for logged-in listing owners.
- wordpress_test_cookie — Set temporarily during the login process to check whether your browser accepts cookies; deleted immediately after.
If you choose “Keep me signed in” when requesting a sign-in link, your authentication cookie is set with a longer expiry period (approximately 14 days). These cookies are not used for tracking or advertising. Note that cookies set with “Keep me signed in” will not persist in private or incognito browser windows.
We do not use WordPress’s commenting system on this site.
6. Passwordless sign-in (magic links)
AugustaFoodTrucks.com uses passwordless authentication. Instead of a password, sign-in links are emailed to you on request. Each link contains a single-use cryptographic token. When you click the link, the token is immediately invalidated and cannot be used again. No passwords are ever stored for food truck owner accounts. Your IP address is recorded at the time of sign-in for security and abuse prevention purposes.
7. Google tools
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and how they find the site. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (typically named _ga, _gid, and _ga_[ID]) to track sessions and distinguish visitors.
We have enabled IP anonymization in Google Analytics, meaning the last octet of your IP address is masked before being stored by Google. We do not use Google Analytics advertising features, remarketing, or demographic reporting.
Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to monitor how the site appears in Google search results, identify indexing issues, and understand search traffic patterns. Search Console does not collect data from visitors to this site — it processes data that Google already has from its own search activity. No additional cookies or tracking are set by Search Console.

Any data-sharing applications will require that we update this policy before implementation to clearly describe what data is shared and how it is used. We will not retroactively apply new data practices to information already collected without notice.
10. Data retention

If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information from active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required for security logging or legal compliance.
