1. About this service

AugustaFoodTrucks.com (“the Site,” “we,” “us”) is a free, community-oriented online directory connecting food truck operators and cottage food businesses in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) with local customers. The CSRA includes Augusta, North Augusta, Evans, Martinez, Grovetown, Harlem, Aiken, and surrounding communities in Georgia and Aiken County, South Carolina.

This is not a commercial marketplace, booking platform, or transaction processor. We do not facilitate sales, take commissions, or handle payments of any kind. The Site exists solely to help local food businesses reach more customers in the community & for the community to locate their favorite food trucks easily.

2. Who may list on this site

Listings are open to:

• Licensed food truck operators serving the CSRA
• Cottage food businesses operating lawfully under Georgia’s cottage food regulations (O.C.G.A. § 26-2 and Chapter 40-7-19 of the Georgia Department of Agriculture rules, including updates under HB 398 effective July 1, 2025) or under applicable South Carolina cottage food laws for CSRA-based SC operators
• Other mobile food vendors operating under valid local and state permits

Listing on this Site does not confer any license, permit, or legal authorization to operate a food business. You are solely responsible for maintaining all required licenses, permits, food handler certifications, labeling compliance, and any other legal requirements applicable to your business.

3. Free service; no guarantees

AugustaFoodTrucks.com is provided free of charge to eligible businesses. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service — in whole or in part — at any time and without notice. We do not guarantee that the Site will be available continuously or error-free.

We may introduce paid features or promotional opportunities in the future. Any such offerings will be optional and clearly disclosed.

4. Account registration and approval

Creating a listing requires submitting a registration request, which is subject to manual review and approval by our team. We reserve the right to approve or deny any application at our sole discretion, and to revoke access at any time. Providing false or misleading information during registration is grounds for immediate removal.

You are responsible for keeping your contact information current and for any activity that occurs under your account.

5. Content and moderation

All listing content — including business names, descriptions, schedules, photos, and menus — is submitted by the listing operator and is not independently verified by us. We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or quality of any listing.

By submitting content to the Site, you grant AugustaFoodTrucks.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display that content on the Site and in related promotional materials.

We reserve the right to remove, edit, or decline any content that we determine, in our sole discretion:

• Is false, misleading, or deceptive
• Violates applicable law or regulation
• Is inappropriate, offensive, or harmful to the community
• Promotes a business operating outside the CSRA
• Does not represent a legitimate food truck or cottage food business
• Violates any part of these Terms

Moderation decisions are final. We are not obligated to provide a reason for content removal or account suspension.

6. Cottage food operator responsibilities

If you list as a cottage food operator, you represent that your business complies with all applicable Georgia or South Carolina cottage food regulations, including but not limited to completing an ANSI-accredited food handler training course, proper product labeling (including the required disclosure that products are produced in a residential kitchen exempt from state inspection), and any registration or identifier requirements with the Georgia Department of Agriculture.

You acknowledge that cottage food products may not be appropriate for all consumers and that you bear full responsibility for the safety, labeling, and legal sale of your products. Nothing on this Site constitutes food safety advice or legal counsel.

7. Geographic scope

This directory is intended exclusively for businesses serving the CSRA. Listings for businesses that primarily operate outside this region — or that use this platform to advertise to markets unrelated to Augusta and the surrounding area — may be removed without notice.

8. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information
• Use the Site to harass, defame, or harm other businesses or individuals
• Attempt to access, scrape, or copy Site data through automated means
• Introduce malicious code, scripts, or other harmful content
• Use your listing to conduct any activity that violates local, state, or federal law
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent moderation decisions

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site is accurate, complete, reliable, or free of errors. Use of the Site and reliance on any listing information is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AugustaFoodTrucks.com and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, including damages resulting from reliance on listing information or interactions with listed businesses. Our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Site shall not exceed zero dollars, as this is a free service.

11. Third-party links and services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, social media profiles, or mapping services. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external resources.

12. Privacy

Information submitted through the registration form — including your name, email address, mobile number, and business details — is used to operate and moderate the directory. We do not sell personal information to third parties, all information remains within our organization. Your public-facing listing will display only the information you choose to make visible on your profile. We may contact you by email or phone regarding your listing.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made. For significant changes, we will attempt to notify active listing holders by email.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes arising from your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Richmond County, Georgia.
